(www.aegisuniversity.com), the first resource of its kind among Narcotic Treatment Programs ("NTPs") in the state of California. The new site serves as a valuable resource for students of academic institutions and practicing clinicians, utilizing Aegis' substantial electronic library of scientific, clinical and training materials.
The Aegis University website provides access to a wide-range of government publications, including the renowned HHS / SAMHSA Treatment Improvement Protocols ("TIP"), and Technical Assistance Publications ("TAP") series, trade journals, PowerPoint presentations, video library with fifty (50) items, as well as other related links.
"The quality of our patient care standards have always been greatly influenced by the level of our clinicians and the quality of their training," said Edith Barkai, Director of HR. She also stated, "These materials are the result of two decades of clinical experience and knowledge. Aegis is excited that we can make these resources available to individuals, who are pursuing occupations in our field, it allows them access to information that goes beyond textbooks, and takes them into 'real world' clinical applications."
