These specialized weekly meetings include groups for patients diagnosed with Hep-C, dual diagnosis, single parenting, alcohol abuse, relapse prevention, as well as many others.
K2R support groups are peer established and run independent of any provider or other authority, they specifically address the obstacles that patients of Narcotic Treatment Programs face in their recovery efforts.
"Patients are most likely to regain control of their lives if they share experiences, and establish channels of communication with other recovering addicts in a supportive and protective environment," stated Steve Day.
